Guinness Open Gate Brewery

Such a fun place to visit! They were serving brunch when we came and it was yummy. We got the Bavarian pretzel to start, which was delish, esp the mustard cream. And then to eat we got the burger, Nashville hot chicken & waffle, salmon salad, black bean burger, and chicken Caesar salad. I wouldn’t say the food is anything particularly special, but it was enjoyable! The beer was delish, obvi!! And highly recommend the house-made brownie sundae! Ended by raiding the gift shop, ofc! Def worth the visit!

This is a very nice brewery, lots of space indoors and outside. Nice selection on beer, various styles. Service was very good. The beer was well above average. I didn't eat, food looks and sounds amazing. The one drawback is the price, very expensive. I had one 4 beer flight and two 8oz pours and my bill was over $38.15 without the tip. Worth stopping in for sure, just know going in that it's going to cost you.

I went for the Saint Patrick's Day festivities and it was wonderfully set up. The food was excellent the staff was friendly and attentive, of course the drinks were great. My only minor complaint was that they were not also offering tours. It was my first visit and I would have loved being able to schedule a tour during my visit as well. I guess I will just have to go back sometime.

While visiting friends in Maryland, we had dinner at the Guinness Open Gate Brewery on a very cold Friday night. This is an epic brewery and I was very impressed as soon as I arrived. I had the 1817 Heritage Burger with a side salad and it was outstanding. I also tried a few beers. This is a must visit brewery if you are in Maryland.

Great facility with many options! Indoor or outdoor seating; comfy barstool at the large rectangular bar or chair at a table; high table or regular height; picnic table or cozy patio around a fire pit. You choose and this isn't even all the options available... The menu offers a good selection of various cultural- and American-style foods as appetizers, entrees, etc. The beer is really excellent -- staff was happy to guide you to your best personal taste in beers and let you sample to see what appeals most. There is a gift shop with cool momentos and select your own four-pack, or fill a growler or large can with your favorite. Tours are also available. Our food was tasty and arrived quickly after our order was placed.
