Dat Jerk Lansdowne

OMG I can’t believe I have passed this place so many times - the food was AMAZING! I had a honey jerk lime salmon with some cabbage and the plantain was crunchy on the outside (do a happy food dance). I brought some Mac n cheese home for son and after a scoop he looked at me like where you get this from!!! We’ll definitely be back!

Used to be one of my favorite places to eat. I’d go here all the time. The staff played a sick joke on me that I didn’t find funny at all, and as a result, I will never be back again. I usually order the brown stew chicken platter with a side of cabbage and a patty—about $35–$40. I always leave a note explaining how I want my food prepared, and I ask for extra sauce. I guess they got mad because I asked for extra sauce, because they gave me no sauce and no chicken. What’s a brown stew platter without brown stew? I was left with nothing but dry rice and macaroni. I reached out to the team—unhelpful. I reached out to the manager—robotic, unconcerned, and unhelpful. I reached out to corporate—they ignored me completely. I think it’s safe to say this is no longer my favorite place to eat.

I usually skeptical of chain restaurants as I see they have a few locations. I tend to think something gets lost in flavor. But this was quite surprisingly good. I ordered Jerk pork "Roti", a pound of jerk pork, mac and cheese and spinach patty. The Roti was huge but it was more a jerk pork burrito, the wrap used doesn't give me buss up shut vibes but it was delicious none the less. I would repurchase just the same. The jerk pork as a stand alone is great as well. The mac was slightly salty and the spinach patty good but peppery, I'm not sure what that was about.. I did enjoy everything and their portions are great as well.

Toady me my daughter went to Dat Jerk and the food is always amazing. The ladies were so sweet me my daughter had them cracking up with our banter back in fourth lol my daughter loves their food she saving some for school tomorrow and she said she is not sharing her food it is to good to do all that lol. Thank guys for the amazing meals never disappoint. If you never been here please check them out.

This is what they delivered me. The bag had a hole in it and was leaking at the time of delivery, and when I opened the bag, the stew peas inside were completely opened. The lid wasn’t even on and it had soaked and ruined all the other food making everything else was inedible On top of that, I couldn’t even get a refund from UberEats despite the photo evidence of the ruined food and delivery photo of the food being delivery like that. Besides that, there was something brown smashed onto the roti that wasn’t part of the tortilla and isn’t from the pan or grill. That was enough for me to never order from here again.
