Not a bad Drive-In type of place. Burgers and hot dogs were good. The ice cream was spot on. Service was quick. Cash Only type of place which I would say is really the only negative thing.

They make the best foot-long hot dogs. For a 13.99 combo, you get a foot long hotdog , fries and fountain drink. Toppings include chili, relish, etc. The hot dog bread is grilled and nice and toasty. The fries are fried to perfection. Chili is not very spicy but does have a kick to it and so tasty. Other combos include cheeseburger and chicken. They have counter seating. They also serve ice cream on an adjacent area. It's a small joint that gets filled up fairly quick. There is plenty of parking They are closed on Mondays.

This is my hot dog spot. I'm sure everything else on the menu is wonderful, but I have my regular I order. When I am in the mood, I'll add a shake. The ice cream is great on a hot day. It's a step back to a simpler time when you walk in -- stools at a counter and 4-person booths.

Buttery toasted grilled hotdogs, and the best icecream ever-the good kind too, hard and slow melting and creamy!!! And not sickeningly sweet!

My husband and I have always been so curious to visit Guida’s, so after years of talking about it, we finally stopped in for lunch. For being voted CT’s best hot dogs before, we can’t say we were impressed. We liked that they were long, but they were very thin, and we didn’t care for the overall flavor. Pretty pricey too. Fun retro vibe and they serve Gifford’s ice cream, but don’t see ourselves coming back. Our server was nice though for the brief moments spent at the table.
