Guardado's Restaurant

We went to Guardado's for the first time today and were extremely impressed. The woman who worked there was very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. The space is really lovely and comfortable. The food!!!! We went there specifically to try the VEGAN paella. I havent had it since Jaleo was around and otherwise in Spain. It was outstanding. Cooked perfectly. We ordered most of the vegetable tapas options. Vegan, Gluten free options are both marked clearly on the menu. We will definitely be going back!

The waiter was very friendly, patient, and knowledgeable about their gluten free items. I have celiac disease so I had so many questions IYKYK. We got there right before dinner rush. We the Paella Con Pollo Y Chorizo and Ensalada Guardados with chicken. The Paella was ok, the rice wasn't done so it was quite crunchy. The salad was amazing, the chicken had the best flavor and was so moist. The balsamic vinaigrette dressing was delicious. I definitely will go back and try their other GF items.

This is a fabulous small family owned and operated restaurant in downtown Bethesda. We primarily come for a tapas meal and sometimes their paella. Both are wonderful. The staff are Incredibly welcoming and very knoweldgable of the food amd wines. The wine menu is small but we'll curated. We regularly come here after shows at the Roundhouse and for lunch with friends.

What a charming little restaurant! We wanted paella and decided to on Guardado's Restaraunt based past reviews. Just a great little neighborhood restaurant. We ordered the Paella Cesar. This dish included chicken, chorizo, and shrimp. We also ordered 3 additional tapas - Brucheta Des Carnes (grilled skewers of NY Strip Steak, Pork Loin, Chorizo, and Chicken on a bed of Manchego) and Vieras & Camaron (Pan Seared Scallop & Shrimp on a bad of Risotto Rice), and the Croquetas (Bechamel fritters with chicken and serano ham). Simply wonderful. We really enjoyed the Vieras & Camaron. The Paella is larger than we expected - also so very good. We learned that this restaurant has been around for 18 years. Of particular note is the Men's restroom. Wow that is such a small space for a res
