Guapo's Restaurant

Had lunch at Guapo and it was absolutely amazing! The food was delicious, beautifully presented, and served in generous portions. The piña colada was refreshing and perfectly made. The fish was incredibly flavorful, and the shrimp were cooked just right and very tasty. Overall, the food was outstanding. The service was quick, and our server was excellent—friendly, attentive, and professional. We had a great time and really enjoyed both the food and the ambience. Highly recommend!

Frankly, I have never found a Mexican food restaurant anywhere in the US worth raving about outside of my home area in Southern California, until now. A short walk on the boardwalk by the Washingtonian pond takes you to an attractively designed front. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They'll warmly invite you in and you get a deeper feel for the festive Latin atmosphere. Then the real treat begins. They'll bring you some fresh tortilla chips (appear to be house-made, not store-bought), light and crispy with the perfect amount of salt. Two types of house-made salsa accompany the chips, both absolutely delicious and fresh. I went to Guapo’s and we were seated on the side near the door which made it really cold from opening and closing. I was so chilly that I ended up ordering a hot chocolate yes at Guapo’s when I really should have been drinking margaritas lol. The birria tacos were incredible and that hot chocolate was one of the best I have ever had. The customer service was excellent too, fast, attentive and friendly. Even with the cold spot, the food and service made it a great visit.

My favorite restaurant! Authentic flavors, staff with an excellent work ethic, fun mocktails/cocktails, attentive service all around, and an immaculate location! Noise is loud but lively! The fried ice cream is a must for dessert!

This is our favorite restaurant. I went today to celebrate my twins first birthday with my wife family that came from Honduras. We loved the food, the service, the ambiance. Nanci (I believe was her name) our server took really good care of us even though we were 12 people, she even offered to help us with our twins so we could eat, she and some staff members were amazing helping us with our little boys. Her service was top notch. Food was delicious as always, drinks were fabulous. Thank you for such a wonderful experience and for celebrating my kids birthday. (Let them keep cash tips for themselves, I am working as a server too) We will come back, for sure..!!
