GTO (Great Take-Out)

I used to order all the time but had to stop ordering because the prices just keep going up and extra charge for credit / debit. The quality of food no longer matches the price. Last time I ordered food it was 120 for a family of 4. A salad with grilled chicken should not cost almost 30 dollars…. It’s a salad and this is a take out place . The food is good but not that good.

I've been passing outside the neighboring stores next to this establishment a few weeks ago and was wondering where the great BBQ smell was coming from. Everyone said it was from this place. So, today i decided to stop in for the first time. I tried the Open Steak Sandwich which is made from real sliced pieces of steak! It was amazing. While waiting for my food to be made, I was chatting with the owner who was also amazing and personable. Great spot!

They make the best burger around you wait a little longer for your food because it’s made fresh compared to other places with similar food. They are reasonably priced. They are a neighborhood favorite of mine.

I’ve been going to this place for well over a decade. The food is still the same w the new owner , but the way they operate the take out has gotten so bad. It was always a long wait , but it’s a lot longer and sometimes they don’t even answer the phone. If you are going to order here , expect a hour wait minimum

The new owner is very lazy, rude and disrespectful, with behavior that feels misogynistic. On top of that, the food is overpriced. I would not recommend going here. It’s a shame, been going there since I was a kid and used to love it.
