Breakfast at Grumpy’s was a standout experience from start to finish. Brittany provided exceptional service, striking the perfect balance of friendliness, attentiveness, and efficiency. She made the visit feel genuinely welcoming and set a great tone for the meal. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, creating the kind of comfortable setting that makes you want to linger over your coffee. The food was delicious, clearly made with care, and arrived hot and well-prepared. Overall, this was the kind of breakfast that leaves you smiling long after you leave. We will definitely be back again.

I have lived in Jacksonville for so many years and just this month I finally got to eat at Grumpys. They have a few different locations. I ate at the one at the beaches and the one in Middleburg within the past two weeks. 🥚🍳 I love breakfast and so I had breakfast options both times. The omelette was amazing and they even have gluten free toast for those of us that can’t eat gluten. 🍞 Each of my friends had something different as well and they loved the food but couldn’t quit raving about the cinnamon rolls and tuna melt. If you are visiting Jax or live here, this is the place to go for the best breakfast and brunch in town - imo.

Grumpy's was a cool experience. They're were sooooo many people trying to get in there. It has to be a wait. Worth it. We had like a 9 minute window and the aromas had a "I'M WORTH THE WAIT-NESS" to them. We had our pick of place to sit both inside and out. Grabbed a great seat and Noella (Sorry if I misspelled it) was our waitress. She was so kind and compassionate, she could of nerf'd up the order and would of been forgiven just as fast. [[[LOVE YOUR PEN COLLECTION]]] I order the main sample platter. The cakes were so fluffy and warm, it chocolate morsels soft the whole time I was eating. Loved that! Great place for comfort food. And they now serve alcohol. Word of advice, get the turkey platter with dark meat (and an extra side of gravy), the white meat, while tasty, is dry as the Sahara. Their Smash Burgers are awesome, not too crazy about the potato salad though. And the servers are super friendly, efficient and accommodating. We will be back.

I visited this Grumpys a few weeks ago during Breast Cancer Awareness month and I was pleased to see that they turned pink for a purpose!🩷 They were serving up fluffy pink pancakes and waffles and 50% of proceeds from every pink menu item and T-shirt sales went directly to support those affected by breast cancer as well as The Donna Foundation. I love when my favorite businesses make these types of humanitarian efforts. My waitress that morning was Ellie and she was absolutely amazing! She even made me feel better after I not only broke one but two of the bottles of hot sauce. In my defense they slid off the table lol.
