Grub and Chug

Located downtown Ottawa, Kansas on 3rd and Main! Perfect Location, BIG PORTION SIZES, ice cold beer, lots of burgers to decide from plus countless other menu items! Fast WiFi! Places to charge your phone, plenty of seating and lots of awesome people to talk with! GRUB N CHUG is my favorite restaurant in Ottawa, Kansas and it’s in my top 10 in Kansas! Plenty of parking on Main Street (and yes it’s free to park) or you can park around back of one of the blocks on Main and and walk - it’s got decent parking for a Main Street business! They’re open Thursday - Sunday and quite late in the evening, too! If you’re a sports fan, GRUB N CHUG is the perfect place for you to spend your a Sunday watching the game, chuggin a brew and eating a burger, salad, taters or whatever floats your goat! Haha

Well we happened along here just after the lunch rush so we got plenty of visiting in while we were here. The waitress was friendly and helpful. Scott and Wendy had time to chat as well. Thank you for being so available and open to discussing the menu and off menu items! This is a locally owned operation and they prove it with their menu! The beer batter onion rings were perfectly coated and crispy! The watermelon Jalapeno Mimosa was fantastic! I had the Salt and Pepper Vinegar wings, so meat and perfectly cooked. The flavor could not be beat! The Grub Burger with their homemade sauce was perfect! Highly recommend that one, with the hand cut fries of course. We sat at the homemade bar and it was the perfect height with the cushy barstools! It just does not get any better than this place! I

This IS A HIDDEN GEM! Simple AND better than GOOD! I had the Grub Burger with tots! And the hubs had mushroom Swiss and curly fries!

Have been here several times - the food is always delicious, and the staff is friendly and attentive. It's never been busy, which I would actually like to change - more people need to eat here! I just noticed they changed their hours to open earlier for breakfast - hooray! I was just telling my sisters we need a good breakfast place in town. Will be back soon. Update: the birthday breakfast of my dreams! Got the haystack with add on peppers and onions. They even brewed fresh coffee for me since I needed decaf. I'll be telling everyone to try your breakfast!

Got the meatloaf burger on texas toast. The toast made the burger. It was a little diffrent having a burger that tasted just like meatloaf. The taste was spot on. Fries were amazing.
