Greyhound Family Restaurant

This restaurant has a warm inviting diner feel to it. A good restaurant where the locals eat. No chain restaurant here! I had the banana caramel pancakes and they were scrumptious! Very moist, lots of bananas and very good flavor. The pumpkin spice pancakes were good too! We love coming here with family when we are in town.

A few things went wrong during our visit. Seemed like it wasn't their best night for various reasons. My shrimp had a bit of raw batter in the center but the shrimp did look cooked through. Could have been a bad batch from the supplier. We received a blueberry pancake instead of a chocolate chip pancake. Took a few minutes to fix so no big deal. Overall, the food was good. Our waitresses were kind, helpful, and tried to make us comfortable. A few things were missing. We had to ask a few times, but they waitresses were busy with other tables. I'd give them another try in the future. We had a good time, the staff is nice, and most of the food was right and delicious.

My waitress Leslie was delightful, friendly and very attentive. She made our night great, made us forget about the about average dinner food. Cook I guess refused to cook what I wanted on the all day breakfast menu but Leslie suggested a substitute that made up for it. I'll be back just to have her again.

Not a good visit . Food was not good . Husband had pork bbq which was edible only because of the fries . Pork kraut dinner was pretty bad. No flavor and weird flavor. Not sure what was happening but maybe cooked all day ? Two sides with it one was stuffing which was bright yellow? Tasted awful tbh. I sent it back and got another order of a dinner but only the entree and no sides , was charged for two full meals which were expensive. They didn’t want to adjust any for the bad first meal only 10% and I didn’t even get what I should have in the second meal as k assumed they would adjust the price of the first. Nope. Atmosphere not good really. Only one waitress visible so not sure who was working with her I guess a cook? Anyway we won’t be back . It also didn’t appear clean? Understaffed? W

Got seated right away. Sat at the table for about 5 minutes. A lady asked if anyone had waited on us and we said no. Waited another 5 minutes and still no one even come to get our drink order. We got up and left.
