Greenwood Public Library

It is an amazing experience to have visited the GPL, IN, for the first time fir me. It serves all age groups, providing opportunities to mainly children from almost a toddler to adolescent, to identify themselves with their interest area, kindling their creativity, logical reasoning, knowledge expansion, group participation, project work, story telling, etc. Adequately spaced; books arranged subjectwise, like fiction, non-fiction, arts, science, finance, management and what not. It facilitates in-house reading; helping mainly students, professionals to gather lot of information on their subjects to achieve their purpose. Play areas for children is in the ground floor. Story telling sessions are held for six Tuesdays for children of specified age group. Inventory is fully computer enabled,

We have been going for several years for story times, special events, play dates, and to check out books. It is a wonderful library the kids area staff are wonderful and know my child's name. They are also wonderful with suggestions of books for appropriate age, reading levels, and interest.

LOVE this library. It's modern. Has lots of fun options for our 1 year old and lots of cool passes and games you can check out. Location is great and convenient. Only complaints I have are it opens a bit late in my opinion and there is no free coffee unlike other libraries I've been too

My favorite library. They have so many different seating options. The kids area is GREAT. They have so many fun games and activities. They also have a vending machine full of drinks and food. The workers are always so kind, and have happily helped me with printing documents and getting me a study room. The study rooms are always clean. This library is always my go to when I need a long study session.

I like they have a lot of activities however it’s dirty. Disgusting, I wiped down the magnetic pipe pieces that are in the front of the kids section. The wipe was pretty dirty. I don’t know what the staff does between kids visiting but I do not feel they do enough to keep toys clean. Do better, it’s really not that hard to take a minute to go clean and sanitize. Busy or not it’s part of the job get It done. It takes one person to take disinfectant spray and wipe down surfaces and toys.
