Green River BBQ

Ordered Tuesday night special prime rib. Was cooked perfectly. A bit cold when served. Very good flavor. Came with good mashed potatoes and some homemade Mac and cheese. Both were good. Nice setting. Happy with food and service. Not very busy but being a Tuesday night during winter expected. Definitely worth a try.

We were greeted with smiles, seated quickly, and taken care of by Jacob, who did a great job walking us through some of his favorites on the menu. Our trip today to Green River BBQ, found great service and a fun atmosphere. We ordered a couple of sandwiches to get a taste for their pork and brisket.Along with greens and fried okra. Everything was good overall.

Best BBQ I've had, hands down. The potato salad is INCREDIBLE. I'm not big on barbecue and I honestly wasn't even going to stop for lunch but someone told me that I absolutely had to stop here so I decided to grab something to go and I sure am glad I did. Had the absolute best barbecue sandwich with potato salad and homemade barbecue chips and it was absolutely incredible. I've already told multiple people about this place and will definitely be back. First time stopping into this cute little bbq joint in Saluda. My server, Faybrianne, was wonderful! She guided me through all the options and was super helpful throughout. My drink never went dry, and the food came out quickly! I had the Smokehouse Burger and a side of the Tomato Pie. The burger was phenomenal!!!! Tomato pie was so good, I ordered a whole one to go. I'm taking home 2lbs of the pulled pork. If I don't update on how that was....take it to mean that I'm in a food coma, and it was great too!! I'll be back for sure!!!
