Green Mill Restaurant & Bar

I've been stopping at Green Mill Restaurant in Fairmont, MN for several years now, because they are my halfway stop between SD and IL. The service and food here are consistently outstanding! Service is fast, friendly, and accommodating. Their fettuccine Alfredo is consistently one of the absolute best, if not THE best, I've ever had over my many years of traveling and dining. Thank you to everyone at Green Mill. I hope you never change, because you are truly the best just as you are.

Our food was great. We both enjoyed one of their new Walleye selections and were very impressed. Our waitress was absolutely amazing. Her name was Kia and she was, by far the BEST waitress we have had in years anywhere.

If you order a burger medium it shouldn’t come out like a hockey puck. And then to wait 45 minutes for it and have a manager shrug his shoulders when you bring it to his attention is unacceptable. 0 out of 10. Would not recommend. Burger was burnt as was the bun. Fries massively overcooked. Servers are super friendly but same thing with drinks… shouldn’t take 20 minutes to get a mixed drink. Ridiculous. Apparently the bartenders don’t actually bartend? Not sure. Confused on how that works. Ordered a drink at the bar and kept getting told they are working on it… what? Aren’t you a bartender? She was super sweet but like what? Is my drink coming from the next county over cuz I could have made 80 drinks in the time it took to finally get one drink. $30 for a drink and a burger and I would hav

I ordered a Sonoran chicken salad that I had had previously, anticipating the same delicious experience. as, this salad didn't have the diced onions or camalized pecans. Just a few grape tomatoes and croutons.it was Very Disappointing.

Stop for a burger today . When we arrived there wasn’t a bar tender in the bar for several minutes. Then when she did come back it took awhile to get a menu. Took awhile to come back to take our order and then took awhile for them to bring us the meal. Only one ranch dressing was brought with the food when we requested 2 .My burger was to be cooked through still was pink inside . The burgers had a sour taste to them . Please make sure you have enough staff to Covering the bar while the other needs to step away . This was a long time to wait for service. No apologies for the long wait . This is not the first time we have had issues at green mill . Please train the staff to listen and the cook to make sure they are reading the request is on the tickets .
