Greek Cove - Merrick

I’ve only been here twice so far but highly recommend. You will not leave here disappointed or hungry! Delicious food and huge portions. The small salad with grilled chicken can easily feed two people. The lunch special was so filling and included pita bread with tzatziki as well as a drink. Before we left we grabbed a rice pudding it was so delicious and tasted home made. We’ll be back again to try out more of your menu! Thank you.

Got the rice bowl, I am Greek and the rice tasted exactly like how my Grandma made it. And the man taking my order was super kind and patient well I decided what to order. The portion size was huge and the food tasted flavorful and extremely fresh. Can’t wait to try more! They even have Greek desserts, which I will definitely be trying next time!!

The food was delicious. You have to try the falafel. The salmon as always exquisite. The atmosphere is good, but apparently they receive more orders for delivery than for eating in. Given that, I understand that they do not have the correct utensils for when customers come to eat at the premises since most of their orders are for takeout. Although it may be different in summer, I went in winter. very good service, I would return to this place. 10/10

Unusual for me, but I’m not starting with the food in this review. The people that own and work here are among the nicest humans you ever hope to meet anywhere. I pick up often because it is good, fresh, food served by great people. I winning combination that you don’t find often today. The chicken Giro is my go to order. I ask for the chicken to be grilled after is cut off and it adds extra flavor and crispness to the chicken. It’s the best chicken giro I’ve ever had anywhere by a wide margin. My wife gets the Greek salad with a side I chicken giro meat. I have also had their honey bbq wings and they are great. I’m sure the rest of the menu is great it’s just that I have a bad habit of finding something I like and just running with that over and over. Best casual Greek food EVER !
