Granny's Gourmet Donuts

A charming and welcoming place. From the moment I walked in, I was captivated; every detail tells a heartwarming story. The old-fashioned donuts come in a wide variety, from classic to old-fashioned to Boston—you can't go wrong, and the flavor is simply delicious. Highly recommended.

This little hole in the wall is only open in the weekend. They may not make the best doughnuts but you will be hard pressed to find a better value for a good doughnut. We got a pumpkin, a coffee, a fresh strawberry, a maple pecan bar, a Boston cream and an apple fritter. The Boston cream was nice with a thick layer of chocolate on top. The strawberry had a little jam and half a strawberry on a regular glazed. The coffee had a nice cream on the inside. The pumpkin was crispy with a tasty pumpkin frosting. The maple pecan bar was exactly as its name said. They also included a cinnamon sugar donut, which was amazing, it was like cinnamon cotton candy in doughnut form.

Wonderful! The only downside is their unusual hours, it’s a bit tricky to catch them when they’re open. Other than that, it’s absolutely perfect. Easily the best donuts I’ve ever had.

These are the Best donuts in Montana! It’s only open Friday through Sunday. Cash only ($1 donut or $10 for a dozen)place and there was a long line but it’s worth the wait. Granny was serving you the donuts and the shop owner was so friendly. He let us dip a donut in sprinkles. That was a great experience! I highly recommend any of the donuts but loved the orange cream. The donuts have a crunchy but soft texture. Really is the perfect donut!

Have lived here for 20 years and still so special to go to Granny’s. It was my dad’s 79th birthday and they gave him a free donut to decorate with sprinkles. So fun and so so yummy. Our favorites are the chocolate and maple bars.
