Husband and I decided to try out this gem while shopping and it did not disappoint! Very welcoming as soon as we walked in the door! Andrea was our waitress, very sweet, knowledgeable, & prompt! I ordered enchiladas and hubs ordered the chicken tenders meal, mash potatoes, sweet corn! Came with the salad bar as a side! WHAAAT!!! YEP!! Very easy 5 stars! Definitely recommend! The decor and gift shop was excellent!

Just know this staple is our favorite Iowa family restaurant & has outstanding food and service!! The fish fry is always knocked outta the park with great flavor and an amazing salad bar! Also, wanted to acknowledge our servers, Brittney and Garett who offered the kind of hospitality you find when you feel like you're visiting home. The restaurant interior design, service, and food is high quality while making the true connection to great homestyle, Midwest cooking. Thank you for keeping this place so special for generations of families, including my own. ❤️

If you want that authentic down home American diner food experience in hen this is the place for you! Best food my son and I have had in a long time which he confirmed by saying the hash browns were the best he had ever tasted, I had to concur! I could have said that about all the food as well as the service and costs which were beyond par elegance! Will definitely be making this our regular stop when driving through Iowa!

It was good overall kind of gives a Cracker Barrel vibe. This is corn beef has with hash browns add onions, mushrooms, and peppers. Then a half size of biscuits and gravy. Spent about 25 dollars

Ahhh the food here is amazing! The waitress we had was super friendly too, always made sure we were topped off on coffee and water, and made sure we all got the food we wanted. If we ever pass through this area again we will definitely be back!
