Grafton Arts Mill Coffee Roastery has quickly become one of my favorite local spots. The coffee is outstanding, rich and freshly roasted with flavors that stand out compared to anything you can get at a big chain. You can tell they take real pride in the beans and the craft behind every cup. The atmosphere is just as good. The old mill building gives it a warm, comfortable feel that makes you want to slow down for a bit. It is a great place to relax, meet a friend, or get a little work done with steady background energy but none of the noise you find in busy cafés. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, which adds to the whole experience. If you enjoy high quality coffee in a calm and inviting setting, this place is absolutely worth the stop.

Great hidden cafe beside the Milwaukee River in downtown Grafton! We ordered regular coffee and hot chocolate. I liked their hot chocolate more than the coffee. The ambiance inside gives you a rustic, old place feel. They also have outdoor seating. Don’t miss visiting if you are in Grafton!

I had fallen arches. A diet heavy on starches. Halitosis. Avascular necrosis. Diminished vision. A lack of precision. Poor grammar. I’d been a flim flammer. I had painful bunions. An allergy to onions. A raging case of gout. A tendency to pout. That all changed when chance brought me into AM Coffee. What a miraculous bit of good fortune befell me! I felt an instant healing. I don’t know if it was their lovingly crafted menu items, or just the phenomenal folk who ply their trade in this heavenly little haven. I felt as if scales tumbled out of my eyes as my vision cleared. I was suddenly able to spell words like ‘Saskatchewan’ and ‘Antetokounmpo.’ I realized that the phrase ‘playing good’ should really be ‘playing well.’ It’s been months now, and my doctors are still in awe. Such a quant and scenic place to get coffee and bakery! The coffee quality is amazing and the treats are delicious! I’d definitely recommend this coffee shop to people visiting the area:)

Neat coffee house, in a beautiful location. Indoor and outdoor seating. Of variety of coffee drinks including lattes, mochas, and smoothies. Bakery items as well. Nice space, very clean. Staff was welcoming, helpful, and efficient. Got a few coffees to go, and we'll stop in again in the future.
