13 NORTH

First time here since they changed to North 13. We met up with our good friends Laurie & Mike. Beautiful decor and friendly service. Started with thier house Makers Mark O'Fashion and Brian enjoyed a Yeungling from the tap. I had wine with dinner (beet salad with salmon). Brian had bacon wrap meatloaf. Laurie enjoyed their spicy, crispy, and juicy Nashville Chicken. Mike ckeaned his plate of Pecan Chicken, mash potatoes, and Brussels sprouts. Desserts included a Bourbon Caramel Pretzel Bread Pudding and a Creme Brule. So good. We will be back!

Stayed in Grafton at a great condo above Colectivo and 13 North was just across the street! It was a cold weekend with temps below 0, so did not get to sit to watch the river, but it was still a wonderful experience. Our server/bar tender was great and very helpful with our selections. The location has been recently remodeled and it feels warm and welcoming with great service. I recommend it and hope to stop by again as we are still in the Airbnb/condo for our visit.

We had our wedding reception in the event space upstairs. The space was beautiful and set-up well for us, with room for our ~100 guests for a sit-down dinner plus a dance floor. The event coordinator, Sue, was very responsive in answering questions and discussing layout, food, etc. I also appreciated their accommodation of my guests' food allergies/restrictions. For plated food, we got the beef burgundy, bourbon glazed salmon, and the bang-bang cauliflower (vegan). The beef and salmon came with a house salad, mashed potatoes, and green bean almondine. Everything was delicious! My only regret is not ordering more of the yummy desserts. The AV also worked perfectly. I would highly recommend 13 North for any reception/party/event.

Very clean and modern space with comfortable seating overlooking the river. Late lunch on Saturday - busy but not crowded. Harvest Bowl salad was very good, and the Salmon with Herb Risotto was exceptional. Ordered the caramel bread pudding to go, but decided to have just one bite -- it never made it out of the restaurant - sublime! Server Jack was GREAT! A wonderful place to relax and enjoy uncommonly good food and service.

Recent remodel is great, bathrooms much better then when it was Milwaukee Ale House. Dinner comes with a water carafe which I love! I drink a lot of water! I had a classic margarita, which tasted like straight tequila, but I’m not complaining 😂 Brussel sprout appetizer was very good. I had the 5oz steak sandwich, highly recommend. Steak was tender, cooked to my request. Upgraded to Parmesan truffle fries. Husband had a type of shrimp pasta, don’t remember the name, but he liked it. Came with a good bit of shrimp. I did order a french onion soup, but it was forgotten. Server eventually brought soup and comped it, which was appreciated. Overall, much better than previous Milwaukee Ale House!
