Grace's Restaurant

AUTHENTIC atmosphere with the hustle and bustle of a dedicated staff! The place was slammed, which is a testament to the GREAT food and friendly service. We'd never been there before, but we felt at home in the first few minutes. Great breakfast sandwiches!

We had lunch this afternoon at Grace's Restaurant with our 2 1/2 year old and his parents. As soon as you get through the door you can tell by the buzz and friendly greeting this is going to be good. With the little one it's always a toss of the dice but he was very well behaved and was content watching all the activity of wait staff serving and people coming and going. Now back to the review of the restaurant, exstensive menu and many choices for the little ones. Staff was super friendly and very attentive. a couple of the adults ordered salads and I ordered a turkey club sandwich. My Grandson had chicken fingers with fries, he was all set with that, big portion and as long as he had ketchup to dip in he was all good. I had to get up to ask for more coffee and soda. I had to get up and ask for containers. The pastrami sandwich was good but the quesadilla was bland and very greasy on the bottom. no vegg only chicken and cheese in the quesadilla the poutine fries weren't cooked enough the fries were hard in middle and the poutine gravy was great but the cheese was not warm at all so it was huge curds instead of soft and melted. I asked for the plate to be returned and it came back the same as if they put it in the microwave. they have a large menu. a bunch to choose from. coffee was fresh not enough help for sure but plenty of parking. the bathrooms are clean and the customers were nice.

Grace's is a classic diner EXCEPT they also have plenty of options for those of us who are gluten free. I mean, gf pancakes, waffles AND french toast? Amazing. The food was great, the service was excellent. I was just passing through but if you live in the area, treat yourself to Grace's, especially if you are gluten free. The restaurant is easy to find and there is plenty of parking.

Steak was ordered rare came out very well done. Ordered gravy never got it. Order one pancake and one French toast with my meal and I got two pancakes. Bacon was okay sausage was good. Not a bad place just not a favorite
