Gordo’s Deli II

MY ORDER: 2 scrambled eggs with tomato, avocado, and pernil from the hot food bar (that is served by the cashier) yes they all practice safe food handling so they wear gloves and all the food safety practices. I’ll try to keep this short because I’m extremely hungry. I haven’t reviewed restaurants in a very long time; so forgive me for I am a bit rusty. I was currently on my way to start my second job Instacart until I remembered of a small local deli in the heart of Elmsford, NY. I haven’t had breakfast nor consumed anything after a long hectic busy morning. But like I said I remembered GORDO’s Deli 2… It’s a deli that served sandwiches as well as authentic Latin FUSION / CLASSIC AMERICAN FOOD. Anyways it was good with a side of salsa verde green sauce. What a great find on our ride home! We got to talk to Gordo and hear the fabulous story about how his family has preserved his Mama's recipes. The food was fresh, delicious and made to order, and met our craving for a great deli! They were able to accommodate my mom's dietary limitations. The sandwiches were huge in a good way! Try the Cubano or the Philly. YUM! We tried their mama's meatballs and had to take some home for dinner. Thanks Gordo!

The worst - months later still furious. I’m convinced most of the positive reviews here are fake. Overcharged, $26 for two 1/2 lbs of sliced cheese! - from CT and didn’t check bag/receipt until home. $26 for 1 lb total/low grade and skimpy. Boar’s Head Cheddar is $6 lb everywhere else!!! Update 11/15. ROAST BEEF WEDGE = $16 here and the same but fresher better more ingredients $10.99 at Ardsley Market today - furious. Disgusting. They Make Sandwiches in a Side Room!!!!!!!! What?! How appropriate. Disgusting - not civil or decent.

Amazing place, food is fresh and made daily. Everything is nice and clean. The natural juices are amazing as well.

Had and AMAZING breakfast burrito here! 10/10 reccomend this spot if you’re looking for a hot meal at a good price and fast. The owner was super kind and the table service for dine-in was quick and easy! Wish I lived in the area so I could come back here every week! The fresh hot sauces were also INSANELY good :)
