Goose Pond Inn B & B

We recently stayed at the Goose Pond Inn for five nights, and it was easily the best bed-and-breakfast experience we’ve ever had. From the moment we arrived, Penny and Jeff made us feel like family—they are incredibly attentive and make a point to know every guest by name. The breakfasts were absolutely amazing and became the highlight of our mornings. We also loved the cozy, communal living room; it’s a space that naturally fosters warm memories and great conversations with other guests. A few highlights: • The Amenities: The 24/7 tea, coffee, and cookie bar was such a thoughtful (and delicious) touch. • The Location: Perfect for exploring. We were only 2 minutes from The Station Lodge and 8 minutes from Northwood Lodge. Thank you, Penny and Jeff, for your incredible hospitality!

I just returned from a 3 night stay at this wonderful inn. First of all, the innkeepers, Jeff and Penny, were very accommodating when I had to change my reservation due to a blizzard at home. I stayed in the Sleeping Bear room, which was very spacious, exceptionally clean, and appropriately decorated befitting its name. A huge, comfortable bed greeted me each night after a day of skiing. The bathroom was very large with a full size walk in shower, and all needed supplies were provided. It was especially fun each afternoon or evening to converse with other guests about our day's activities and compare notes on dining availability in the area. The highlight, of course, is the breakfast each morning, prepared by Jeff. A former mechanic by trade, Jeff really knows his way around the kit

Our stay at Goose Pond Inn was so wonderful! Jeff and Penny go above and beyond to make your stay the best experience. The inn is so cozy and comfortable, and the made to order home cooked breakfasts are amazing and perfect before a day of skiing! The seven hour trip to ski for the first time at Gore Mountain seemed like a long way to go, but now after staying at GPI, we’re already planning a return trip! Penny even had gluten free cookies waiting for us when we arrived, and Jeff cleaned off our car the morning after it had snowed!

Thank you to Penny and Jeff! They take care of the inn beautifully. Penny takes the time to greet each guest and makes everyone feel welcome. The spaces are clean and cozy. Breakfast is ordered the evening before and everything is so delicious. You can really tell they put lots of care into every part of the inn and the guests. Would recommend for anyone staying in the area!

Our family loved our stay at Goose Pond Inn! The Inn was filled with such warmth and vibrance. The couple that runs the inn made the best breakfast with amazingly soft, fluffy pancakes and omelettes. Especially enjoyed the 24/7 coffee bar. We loved how clean the rooms were and how personable they were. Even though we didn’t bring our dog, we were thrilled to learn it was dog-friendly and can’t wait to come back again. Such a nice stay for a New Years ski trip. Thank you Penny!!
