Such a great place to eat, a little hidden gem in Redford! Service was great by all employees, especially “D” he was real nice and personable and took pride in the business! Nice people! All the Italian subs come in one size, I think 10-12 inch, it’s just the thickness of the meat and cheese that you get to choose from 6-12 layers! I got the 8 layer, and it was delicious! The bread is fresh and tasty, and the meat is also very fresh! You can also get deli sides such as macaroni salad, pasta salad, to go along with your sandwich, the prices are very reasonable and the food is excellent! Recommend, we will be back!

Best sub you can get especially for the price. Their bang bang shrimp is to die for. I literally go here at least a few times per month. Found them on Facebook and nowhere ever lives up to the hype but their subs are SO good. Literally like homemade and they carry the great lakes Parmesan ranch style chips which are literally the best. 10/10 recommend!

Delicious food. Great subs. A bunch of other stuff to choose from and a whole bunch of other items available. We get lunch for my work from this place all the time. Everybody always enjoys it.

Tried Gonella’s for the first time and went with the smoked turkey sandwich, fully loaded. The ingredients were super fresh and the turkey had nice flavor, but overall it didn’t leave a lasting impression. Even the sauce didn’t pop like I hoped. That said, it’s a good quality sandwich and a full meal (chips + water) for just $10.76… can’t be mad at that.

Sad to say we are disappointed with the Italian subs today. They used to be delicious. The meat has no flavor, neither does the cheese. They forgot the dressing too. Really nice staff and the place is always clean, but I’m afraid that the quality and the famous taste of these subs is a thing of the past. From now on, I’ll stick with Jersey Mikes.
