Gone West Family Restaurant

Got into Page late and came across Gone West just before closing time. I had the beef pot roast with mashed potatoes and string beans. The string beans were perfectly tender and seasoned well. The pot roast was very tender and portioned well. We had a Navajo taco appetizer, could be your meal itself, it was good, very big. All in all a good meal.

Stepped into this Wild West dream Amazing vibes, killer food, and the kind of decor that makes you feel like you’re in an old Western movie. Totally immersive and so worth the visit! 4 of us enjoyed dinner. Tip’s already included (18%), so no need to add tip!

Very nice big restaurant. Not busy at all when we came in after 4 on a Saturday night. Prices are high but the food was really good. I got the fish and fries and loved it.

We were extremely hungry and it was early on Christmas Eve, when many restaurants were closed. Despite the red flags raised in other reviews, we decided to eat at Gone Wild. The waiter was very kind, but unfortunately the food was inedible. The “Vegetarian Chili” was nothing more than canned beans—for $14. We returned it. The beef chili contained hard, unidentifiable meat that did not seem fresh (possibly frozen or not even beef). My daughter’s BBQ chops, which cost $35, were smothered in excessive gravy that seemed intended to disguise old meat. The only edible items were the salad, the rolled tacos my son ordered, and the sides of mashed potatoes and green beans. To make matters worse, the cornbread had visible mold on it. We came in kinda late. An hour before closing time. Stood around about 10 mins before I had to ask if they were still serving. Only two other tables taken.. Once I let our presence known it got better. The food was good! Pricey but good. It was a blah kind of atmosphere. Maybe it was too close to quitting time. The waitress that seated us was giving off “ I wish you weren’t here” vibes. But the other worker with the short hair was very kind and helpful. We couldn’t get a refill on tea coz the longer haired worker had thrown out all the tea at 830 pm! Talk about ready to get out of there. I guess it was a long day! Thank you to the short haired worker. Against n I forgot names but in this case maybe for the best! lol 😝
