Gom Shabu Shabu

The shabu-shabu is excellent, but I was pleasantly surprised to see duck (soup or spicy marinated) as an option. It tastes just like a specialty restaurant. All the side dishes are also wonderful.

We have just been passing this place for years and finally we wanted to try as this is one of the few places near Pleasant Hill that we haven’t been to. As expected, it tastes great. This looks like another branch of Gom Shabu Shabu. We have tried the other branches. They have generous servings and the sauce is also fantastic. Would have been nice if we got one of the private rooms. Maybe next time we can go earlier to avail of one so I can give 5 stars.

Do you ever find yourself wondering what you're in the mood to eat? It's hot pot. It's always hot pot. Go get some spicy broth and a huge plate of veggies and cook your meat in the soup. Nice and spicy, great prices, so much food 🤤

Amazing staff. We went there when they were about to close and they served us and made sure we were taken care of. They were very accommodating with seafood allergies when we informed them. Most Asian/ethnic restaurants don't usually care and brush it off but these people were very understanding. The portions are generous with plenty of veggies and meats to choose from. The only thing I'd wish was better was a better sauce bar but otherwise would come back again.

I've been to Gom Shabu Shabu since it first open. The owner is very sweet and kind. The restaurant is very cozy and family friendly. The food is simply and tasty. I love the secret peanut sauce. I highly recommend. I do come and visit once or twice a week.
