Golden Star

Had spent all day at lourdes hospital with my husband who had surgery. My friend recommended golden star. Got crab ragoons. They were horrible. Ordered general Tso and steamed chicken and vegetables. I GOT small over cooked shrimp over pasta. No veggies and a chicken rice and lomein . Chicken was rubbery and horrible. Looked like dark meat and maybe some white meat mixed in. Had better Chinese at a buffet. Woman is rude. Never again! And I will tell everybody i know. Not the day to mess up a woman's order who has been sitting in a hospital for 10hrs.

Small location, kind of awkward service counter but the food was good & portion sizes were great.

We usually love the food and service here, but tonight we ordered two orders of C17, like we always get. Got home and found that we had the wrong food. Assuming they gave us someone else's order, we went back. She argued loudly with us and insisted that I said A17 instead of C17. She would not budge. We ended up having to come home with the chicken and crab. It wasn't even good. The imitation crab was mushy. It didn't even need chewing. There wasn't much flavor. The fried rice has nothing in it. Just rice and whatever seasoning they use. No veggies, no pork. It was very disappointing, and we won't be going back.

We stopped at this place on the road trip. We ordered shrimp broccoli and Mongolian beef. Both dishes tasted good and ingredients looked and tasted fresh. Beef was perfectly spicy. The large size can feed 2 adults. I didn’t finish mine. The interior is simple, but nice. Make sure clearly state that are dining in. Most people take out
