Golden Roots Kitchen

I am extremely grateful to have discovered Golden Roots. Besides the fact that I don't love to cook, I'm really not that good at it. :) There's also so many other ways I'd rather spend my time than shopping and chopping! I've tried numerous meal services over the years and while I really appreciated the food, I was never really extremely impressed. Oftentimes, the boxes were delivered upside down with the food spilled. Sometimes the boxes didn't come at all. There wasn't a lot of variety in the meals, and it was very hard to find a plan that was all organic. Not anymore! 🤸‍♂️ Every week, I get a cooler bag delivered on my porch filled with an array of gorgeous, colorful, nutritious, delicious, organic meals. I am in heaven. Thank you to the GRK team.

The quality of the ingredients is excellent and the business is well-organized and well-run; however, the food is SO over-salted all the time. It's frequently inedible. Since salt is such an easy thing for people to add on their own, I don't understand why they can't put a more normal amount of salt on their food and let people add more if they need it. I stopped ordering from them a few months ago because of this, and while I do miss the convenience of their food, I honestly feel better not eating so much salt all the time.

Golden Roots food and customer service is a 10 out of 10. First, the food: Each week, my husband and I enjoy an order that provides quality ingredients & innovative recipes. We are particularly impressed with the chef’s knowledge of tasty, balanced sauces and dressings. No boring food choices ever! Secondly: The customer service is fabulous. Always a smile, a moment to check-in for a thoughtful hello and a small, tasty sample bite before leaving. We only make a small order each week. Tuesday pick-up day is always a good day with delicious food for us to enjoy. Bonn-appetite with Golden Roots🥰

Golden Roots kitchen has been and continues to be the highlight of my eating life. Every week on Wednesday, I get to choose from this wild selection of dishes for breakfast lunch or dinner plus a lot of other goodies that I know hands-down I will enjoy. Then on Tuesdays I go and pick them up and the food is always fresh and delicious with amazing sauces and it just never disappoints. I often buy extra soups and put them in the freezer and then always have a crazy delicious homemade soup available for myself. It’s probably the easiest food ordering account that I’ve ever had. It’s super easy to skip a week or go on vacation. Everyone that works there is so nice and customer service is prompt. Thank goodness for Golden Roots Kitchen! They ensure I am eating healthy and delicious meals every week. Their options are great, ordering is easy, and the people who work there are awesome. I pick up my meals every week and take them to work, which makes my life easier, guarantees I don’t end up eating junk, and keeps me on budget. And the food is so good! Thank you, GRK!
