Golden Piñon

BIG. VERY BIG. Those were my main thoughts when dining at Golden Pinon for a recent stay in El Prado. Portions are quite large here - do know that the "small" omelet is 4 eggs and the "large" is 6! Luckily, the current egg surcharge is not charged per egg. Good omelet! My club sandwich was not what I'd call a club--that's reserved for three layered slices of bread cut into quarters--but it was still a tasty lunch. Blueberry waffle was excellent.

Food is great. The Green is hot. The service is fast and friendly, and the hot cinnamon rolls are the size of your head.

The food was absolutely phenomenal. I’ve been looking forward to eating here since I gave out gift certificates for Christmas. Finally we made it in and it was delicious! My husband and I shared the Chile cheese fries, Christmas, while we eating for our entrees. I had the frittata, which had the yummiest veggies and was seasoned really well. The potatoes could’ve been cooked a little longer but we’re tasty. My husband had the cheese enchiladas, Christmas, and the Spanish rice that came with it was amazing. I love that their chile is vegetarian friendly, it’s so delicious. I’ve also had their waffles, which are everything you hope a waffle to be. Their breakfast tacos are great too, the pico de gallo on top just takes the flavor profile over the top. I can’t wait to keep coming back here!
