Golden Palace

I should have turned around when I pulled into parking lot at the site and condition of exterior but I didn't. Employees all looked miserable and never saw a smile. Food had been out too long and several items were not at safe serving temperature. May have been good at one time but not now. Entire place is dirty and in disrepair. Employee did not want to accept American Express and was not nice about it at all. She actually told me to bring different card next time... LOL! Next time? Not a chance there will be a next time!

I drop by a lot and this is my favorite place cause’ they’re all young and happy people. It was very sweet of the girl who gave me a bag of snacks last time. Also I’m sorry for her loss of her pet the other day.

I always come here and I love the buffet especially the orange chicken and the hot&spicy ones. They do taste so good! This is one of a few places that really worth to go to in such a small town in my point of view. That’s why I really don’t get that there would even be a few negative reviews below, particularly the recent one wrote by an inactive account holder named Maria 3 weeks ago. It’s totally not true, not nasty at all. What she wrote was kind of a slander to the restaurant. I think she just made fake reviews to restaurants for some purposes. Again this is a very good place to eat and I don’t want to see my favorite place being twisted.

Not as clean as it should be. The food was not as hot as it should be, the beef and broccoli was out right cold. I went to get dessert and returning to my set the staff was walking away with my drink. I felt a little rushed at that point. I had the buffet with a sweet tea the price was more than what I was used to paying $ 18.10. Had I known the price before I sat down I would have went somewhere else 😔.

My recent lunch experience was fantastic. The aroma of the food could be smelled even before getting close to them. The food was not only delicious but also beautifully presented. I should say that it was a visual delight.
