Golden Griddle Pancake House

This place has been around for 50 years and it’s for good reason. The staff is friendly, food is delicious, service is quick and efficient. My group ordered everything from pancakes to waffles to French toast to corned beef hash and it was all excellent. Can’t forget the sausage gravy either. Definitely a must try for breakfast in NMB.

We ate here on Ash Wednesday, today. We ordered 2 eggs each, and French toast and coffee. Food was fine as was service, but almost 35 bucks for this is ridiculous. The coffee was 6.14 for the carafe, the meals were 12 something each, but came with meat, which we asked to have omitted(we don’t eat meat on ash weds), I really would have thought there would have been an adjustment, but no. We are locals and have eaten here before but this was the last time for us, plenty of good places to eat breakfast for less and just as good!

I found this place in an article and it had great reviews Online so decided to drive the 40 minutes and check it out. The article said good things about the French toast but when we got there, we saw other people’s orders and the French toast wasn’t as thick or as good looking as the photos. Was very busy when we walked in. We were greeted nicely, and the woman took our name without telling us how long the weight would be. We only waited a few minutes and were seated at a table that still had tip money on it and used silverware. Waited quite a few more minutes for a server to come over.. We ordered and food came out in 20 maybe 25 minutes. The booth we sat at was by the checkout desk so the entire time we ate, there were random people surrounding us and leaning into our booth, making it

Good food! The atmosphere is a little more than I like but it is a busy restaurant so the extra noises is expected. Overall we had a great meal!

Good food decent portions. The wait to get a table wasn’t too long but once seated took about 30 mins for the food to arrive for a party of 2. How ever the place was slammed soon as people get up they are filling the seats back up. Staff was nice . Food prices are NOT the same as listed on google that should be updated there’s a $3-4 difference. Food could have been a bit hotter for the wait time. I had toast come with my breakfast I was unaware they buttered it for you I wasn’t a fan of that. Overall good food and experience.
