This buffet is truly amazing because everyone can find something they love to eat here — from seafood and lobster to lamb and many other dishes. The variety is impressive, and everything is always fresh, tasty, and well presented. The staff are always attentive, polite, and welcoming, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. Drinks are always available and never run out, which is a big plus. The restaurant is also very clean and well organized. Even when it gets busy and there are many people inside, the layout of the dining area is incredibly comfortable. No matter where you are seated, it still feels cozy and private, like you’re in your own quiet space with the people you came with. We always leave satisfied and happy. We have been to the Gohan AYCE in Duluth over a dozen times since they opened last year and they've really ironed out all the imperfections! Their food selections are prepared with the highest attention to freshness and balanced seasoning. From a full selection of sushi, dim sum, seafood (ginger-scallion lobster, snow crab legs, oysters, snail, mussel, calamari, flounder, grilled salmon, blue crab, cocktail shrimp) to meats (prime rib, BBQ spare ribs, lamb chop, brazed pork, Peking duck), you're sure to sample the full spectrum of Asian cuisine at its finest. There's also a wide selection of bottled beverages along with freshly prepared teas (coconut, taro, and boba flavors). This was a great buffet. Very clean and calming atmosphere. They had a wide variety of sushi, and the sashimi was fresh and well prepared. The seafood dishes were nicely cooked and full of flavor. I also loved the large selection of fruits and salads. The dessert options were surprisingly good—I'm not sure why people complain about that. You don’t go to a buffet just for dessert, but the options they had were very tasty. My favorite was the cheesecake. The pho was also delicious. No complaints at all. My birthday dinner with the family an couldn’t have asked for a better way to celebrate. This place has the highest quality seafood from lobsters, stone crabs, snow crabs, calamari, oysters, sashimi shrimp and every conceivable type of seafood found in a salad, entree or any other form. They also have every other type of meat from Peking duck, short ribs, dim sum barbecue ribs, chicken in every form and unlimited soft drinks. Desserts were decent but nothing wow. However this is a place for too notch seafood and meats. Highly recommend going early on a weekend (before 12 noon) otherwise wait an hour at least.
