Godavari Indian Restaurant

The most authentic Indian restaurant in the twin cities that I visited. The food was delicious with an amazing variety of both veg and non-veg options. It was lunchtime and the restaurant was very busy and noisy, but we got a very nice table in the corner with a good view and access to food. The staff was friendly and made sure the food trays were full. I will definitely visit again and will also recommend to friends and family.

Incredible Mother’s Day Buffet at Godavari – Eden Prairie! We visited the Godavari today with our family for the Mother’s Day special buffet, and it was an amazing experience from start to finish! The buffet menu was extensive and packed with flavorful, authentic Indian dishes. My personal favorite was the Thalapakatti Mutton Biriyani—made with fragrant Jeeragasamba rice and tender, juicy mutton pieces. It was rich, flavorful, and absolutely outstanding! The starters were also delicious—especially the Chicken 65, Chicken Majestic, and Tawa Fish. Our kids loved the Chicken 65 and Chicken Dhum Biriyani—definitely a kid-friendly spot as well. The dessert section was another highlight. The Chef’s Special Badam Halwa was rich and indulgent, and the rose-milk was refreshing—perfect way to end

I had a good experience at this restaurant. The butter chicken was rich and flavorful, and the garlic butter naan was soft and tasty perfect with the curries. The chicken korma had a nice, mild flavor and was cooked well. Overall, the food was fresh and enjoyable. I’d definitely come back again.

Hyderabadi chicken dum biryani - medium ulavacharu is good. One biryani definitely can eat two persons.

Insanely overpriced. I paid $25 for Chicken Tikka Masala an a plain Naan for pick up. I had exactly 8 bites of chicken. The rest was tomato soup sauce. That’s basically $3 per bite of chicken. India Bazaar just across the street provides much higher quality a quantity of the same price.. there you pay for th food not the ambience. Taste was just ok.. nothing special at all.
