Glynn House Inn

Wife and I spent a couple nights here, at the Glynn House Inn. We don't travel much out of State, but we love to just get away to reboot and to keep the spark going. This place was everything that we wanted. The owners were very nice and inviting, and they have a couple of Dalmatians that are shy and friendly. We traveled to the destination through a winter storm, they tried to reach out, unfortunately my mailbox was full, my bad. Once we arrived they just wanted to let us to know that they're rearranging our accommodations so that it was safer and easier to get to our rooms. This is definitely is our favorite place to stay, we have a few that we enjoy spending quality time together, so I highly encourage and recommend a couple nights here,. My girlfriend and I recently had the pleasure of spending a weekend at the Glynn House Inn and we could not have been more impressed. The room was welcoming and comfortable, the inn itself was a lovingly maintained throwback to a bygone time, the cuisine was beautifully prepared and delicious, and the personal service and attention to detail provided by the owners was truly heartwarming. Glenn and his family (both two and four legged) provided us with an unforgettable experience and we look forward to staying with them again very soon.

We stayed here 4 years ago and when we planned a vacation in New Hampshire this year, we deliberately chose The Glynn House. We love this place for a number of reasons: it's a quaint, beautiful inn with lots of atmosphere; the hosts—Glenn, Pamela and Ingrid—are so warm, welcoming, and people-oriented they make their home your home; every room is different and beautifully appointed; the noise level is akin to a library, even when the Inn is full; the included breakfast every morning is delicious offering a variety of regular selections with two "specials". One of the highlights of our trip to New Hampshire and the White Mountains was a two night stay at the Glynn House Inn in Sanford, NH. We had arrived early to our lodgings and thought we would wait in the driveway for the 15-20 minutes required until our room was to become available. That is when we first met Glenn, the proprietor of Glynn House. He came to the vehicle to let us know the housekeepers were running behind schedule BUT he had some suggestions for a quick driving tour of the area to pass some time until they had completed their chores. That is how we were introduced to Ashland's lovely Squam River Bridge, a beautiful wooden bridge with a roadbed for automobiles and a walking path for pedestrians. Host's Glenn and Pamela were exceptional - they went above and beyond to accommodate my wife's food intolerances, were professional and knowledgeable of the local area, giving great recommendations of what to see and do and places to eat. Room was comfortable and we had everything we needed.|We will look to stay again for Ski season as its the perfect base for 5-6 different slopes.
