Gloucester County Main Library

I just donated some incredibly nice collectors edition books to library. Lady at front desk was very stand offish informing me they don't take enclopedias. She didnt even bother to look. How sorry I am to have donated books here

Clean, quiet atmosphere - excellent place to relax with a good book. They also offer wifi and computer access. The staff were very friendly.

Nice staff, beautiful Library. REALLY needs to have sound panels installed in all of the rooms and, well basically everywhere. It's an acoustic nightmare. Headphones are a MUST. Also needs more outlets; not enough places to plug in a laptop during peak hours.

I don't recommend. Lots of rules and regulations. Very firm on late fees. Five days overdue is 10 dollars. First time I returned something they harassed me with phone calls for something I put in the drop box a week prior. Very liberal library. Feels as if it's catered to the minority of populations. I don't feel right showing an ID to rent a movie. Feels weird to me. Employees seem uptight. Much prefer my local library of Middlesex county. It's a relaxed atmosphere, informative, staff ready to help, forgiving on fees and willingness to renew and will order something they don't have enthusiastically. I don't feel those things at Gloucester Library which makes sense for a county that nickels and dimes its visitors and residents.

This place is a joke. As of this writing, it was remodeled 6 months ago. We live in a world where our computers are run on electric. Our phones are run on electric. There are 20 'desks' in the common area. Only 5 are near an electrical plug. SMH. Yes, I counted them. So only 5 patrons can plug in their phone and laptop. Poor, poor design and waste of money. AND.... 4 of the 5 are grouped together so if an inconsiderate patron is near you... or one that is sick...
