Girard Wok

I've been coming here for many years, the food and service has never changed... I get the general tso's chicken every time and the portions are very big... Miss Sue is awesome and she's done a hell of a job running this place for many years... highly recommend this place..

I have been a customer of the Girard Wok since 1992. It is super close to where I live & I love the food. Yes, there’re people they don’t care for it or say that it’s a dirty place but I’ve never had a bad meal there. One thing I’ve always loved is that no matter what you order, it will be ready in 10 to 15 minutes. I always order the same things. Bourbon chicken, beef broccoli, wonton soup, boneless spare ribs, pork egg rolls & fried cream cheese wontons. The staff has always been super awesome. They’ve never gotten my order wrong or not prepared me a very tasty lunch or dinner. I usually do take-out, but every now and again, I will dine there. Less than a star! Shrimp was dry and burnt.. rice tasted like rubber. Seamse chicken was even worse zero taste and way over cooked. Definitely not worth thirty dollars. Very disappointing so difficult to find good Chinese food around the youngstown area.

The worst food I've ever gotten. I couldn't eat it, and I don't usually waste food, no matter how bad. If I'm paying for it, I'll eat it, even if it's not great. This was one of the only times I've just thrown my food away.
