Giovannis Roast Beef & Pizza Londonderry

I was craving a cheeseburger, so I ordered a sub from Giovannis for lunch Sunday. They only offer a hamburger sub, to add cheese cost $1. The sub was pretty bad. The patties were overcooked, and the sub roll was so wet I could have wrung it out. It fell apart when I unwrapped it. I picked it up about 20 minutes after ordering it so it wasn't because it was sitting too long. And it cost $16.38!!!! Never again will I order a sub from them. Do better Giovannis or I'll stop ordering salads and one of my favorite pizzas from you too. I could have gotten a much better sub from Market Basket for less than half that price.

Order cheese fries. $11 order a side of cheese $3. No cheese on the fries & $3 for 3oz of cheese 0/10 don’t recommend.

We lived in this area almost 2 decades ago and it never disappointed. Stopped by last night. Same place, same great service, and as always and the pasta w/ beef & brocoli was as good as always.

Called to find out where the rest of my missing delivery was. An hour before they closed someone who barely spoke English kept telling me “no more orders. We closed”. I tried to explain that part of my order was missing and she kept repeating herself. The food is good, when they deliver it. Certainly will be ordering from them less or if at all in the new year.

The food here is consistently great and the staff is always friendly—it’s clear they care about their customers and put pride into what they serve. That said, I do want to offer a little feedback for pickup orders, whether someone’s picking up for themselves or using a service like Uber Eats or Instacart. Charging $1.25 for duck sauce and then only providing three tiny squeeze packets just doesn’t feel like a good value—especially for something like an order of chicken fingers that really needs a proper side of sauce. It’s a small thing, but those details make a big difference when it comes to the overall experience. I’ll definitely keep coming back, but I hope you’ll consider this feedback to make things even better.
