Gio’s Pizzeria

It was good. But definitely not i was expecting based off of other pictures I had seen of their pizza. The cheese pizza unfortunately had a bottom almost completely of burned/missing pieces.

Jay and Kathy have an awesome small business going here at “Gio’s Pizzeria”! Their operation is clean, the food is excellent, and the service is outstanding! We had our first meal at Gio’s on Saturday afternoon, 9/27/2025. Our server, Maddie, was as pleasant and friendly as can be. We thoroughly enjoyed our pizza, listening to some great classic rock, and had wonderful conversation with the owners. We are so happy to have a new(er) local pizza place that treats everyone with respect and appreciation. Almost every table was full when we arrived, and we heard every customer say “Thank you” and that they would return soon. That speaks volumes! We are anxious to go back and try a lot more of what is offered on the menu. We wish Jay, Kathy, and the entire staff the absolute best of success! Tha

The beer was good, the pizza definitely not. Quite an interesting interior with the aqua blue walls and boat hanging from the ceiling. I enjoyed the 80's music they were playing. I'm local so I was hoping for a significant improvement over the previous Manny's Pizza so we'd have a place to hangout for a good pizza and beer. Sadly, we won't return.

The Pizza was ok, but when you say large, basically, it is pretty much a medium. ! Also asked if the wings were hot, they were hot, their garlic knots. It was basically crumbs of bread! 2 of their Pizza basically is a large when my daughter came home and told me it was a $140. I was honestly so disappointed and absolutely ridiculous For having medium pizzas, which you call a large! For a $140, I would expect a large Pizza, not a medium and for a $140. Absolutely not worth it. Prices are absolutely ridiculous. Honestly didn't even look. I would never think that I would pay $30 for a medium Pizza. Basically, I should have just went to Domino's.

Pizza is freakin amazing! Gotta try out Gio’s ate all-good in Algood!!
