Ginza Japanese Restaurant

Traveling through Wethersfield I decided to give Ginza a try. I was greeted by an inviting space and staff, unfortunately the sushi bar was not open this evening but I had no problem being seated at a table immediately. A fairly baseline sushi restaurant menu is offered with the acceptation of seasonal specials including Uni, Toro and Amaebi "which was the only special in stock this evening." Ordered the Yellowtail Jalapeño, Sashimi Dinner, 2 orders of Amaebi Sashimi, 1 Scallop Sashimi, 1 Ikura sushi, 1 Suzuki nigiri and hot tea. The Yellowtail was tasty but also lacking proper structure and texture as can be seen in photo. The Amaebi were prepared well and of good size. Top tier sushi and even better service, every time we’re met with such warmth. I look forward to going for my Crazy Tuna Roll and seeing the lovely staff. Could not possibly recommend any higher. Bury me at Ginza!!!!

Ordered takeout from here. Trying this location for the first time after the Bloomfield location closed. Shrimp tempura and angry dragon roll -4/5-are the two sushi’s that i ordered and they did come out good. Had better before. TSO chicken was so bad-0/5- Chicken was stale and coating was double than the chicken quantity . We asked spicy and they just added more sauces only. Would never order this here ever.

Been coming here for years, their sushi rolls are consistent with deliciousness.. their service is quick and everyone is super kind. They have the BEST hibachi fried noodles and the best creme brulee cheesecake!
