TASTE OF 509 Haitian Restaurant

The food is really good — I’d give it a 10/10 for flavor and presentation however they charge a bit too much for the portion size and my legume plate didn’t include any meat even though it was $25 I think the quality is great but the pricing and portions could definitely be improved ☺️ I paid $10 for a pâté, but it wasn’t cooked properly and they added way too much pikliz for no reason. Really disappointed 😡

I stopped by Taste of 509 for the first time and honestly glad I did. I got the chicken with black rice and a smoothis and both were so excellent. The food was so delicious and everything tasted fresh and full of flavor. You can tell the food is kot rushed and made with care. The restaurant itself is very clean and has a nice island feel to it, a nice vibe and energy. The service was smooth. The smoothie OMG it was thick, fresh definitely felt homemade. Overall it was a great experience. It's nice to have a spot like this in the area. I will definitely come back!

Absolutely amazing food! Taste of 509 brings real Haitian flavor you can’t find anywhere else. The fritay, rice and beans, and chicken are seasoned perfectly and cooked with love. The staff treats you like family, and the vibe is welcoming for everyone. If you want something fresh, flavorful, and unforgettable, this is the place to go!

White boy who likes his fair share Caribbean here. This place is phenomenal. Freshness, quality, spices, portion, service, unreal. The black rice withe their homemade sauce is something I’ve been missing in my life.

First time my family and I tried Haitian food, and it was very delicious! Only complaint is I wish the portion sizes were a bit more! I Had bought a medium chicken and it literally was a wing and a drum with most of the meat gone, felt like a tease cause the flavor and chicken was so good, but just wasn’t enough. The staff was very friendly and welcoming!
