Gilchrist County Public Library

This is actually a really cool library! I went to it because I believe I was trying to find a new near library near me (I used to live in GA) and this one seemed really interesting. I would go back to it more often, but I don't think about it 🥲

My husband and I had to get some papers printed....wow...what an amazing staff. Vinny and Rhoda were so very helpful. This branch us truly the best one around. I do not know what they're budget is but it needs to be doubled. We came just before closing and the library was packed for a Wednesday. Please give these people more so they can do more. Much appreciated.

The staff members that have been there for quite some time are so awesome and helpful. They really have gone out of their way to please this customer. I'm very impressed with the new updating of the library and it's nice to see they have added a great deal of new items to their assortment of DVDs. Awesome work these ladies do!

Went in to study for an upcoming test. It was very noisy. The people who work and volunteer there yell to each other from different ends of the building. The chairs are too low to study at the provided "desk" areas. The woman who is in charge was very rude and told me to go elsewhere if I needed a quiet place to study. Are you serious??? Since when is a library not supposed to be quiet?

I like a library that is always quiet. There are people who should not be near a library, due to their lack of respect for others and those who are there for reasons other than making a bunch of noise. If the noisy and disrespectful people cannot enter the library quietly and stay quiet (as a library should be), they should be kicked out and banned from all libraries (including the parking area). Also note: Smoking needs to be prohibited on library property.
