Gianni Fig's Ristorante

Gianni Fig’s was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. The atmosphere is warm and cozy, perfect for a relaxed night out. We started with drinks at the bar and Laura, our bartender/server, was outstanding — friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The food was incredible. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and clearly homemade with generous portions. Every dish was spot on. The cocktails were just as impressive. Great service, amazing food, and a great overall experience. We’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend!

I think this place is about average to below average. We went there for dinner after reviewing their website and menu and seeing what other's had said. I was fairly disappointed with the food quality. The appetizers, fried motz and calamari were not good. The motz in particular was bad. The portions were just two huge rounds, undercooked and cold. The sauce that accompanied the dish had a bad taste. My wife order the seafood scampi. She could not finish her meal. It was not good. My daughter ordered an Ala carte portion of penne in red sauce. The sauce was overly watery and she would not finish it either. I had a soup, which was decent, and a garden salad that was wilted. The bread was a single roll, cut into three portions. It was bland and a bit stale. The service was slow

The food was excellent, really excellent! The service was also excellent. The problem is the building, it's just too small a space. The tables are way too close together and the acoustics are terrible so it's really loud and you can hear all of your neighbors conversations and they can hear yours. No sense of intimacy. If we go there again it will be for take-out. We went on a Wednesday. So, you're saying it's even worse on the weekends?

We have been fans of Gianni Figs for years. One of our top go to restaurants. We took a couple out last night for New Years Eve to share in what we figured would be a great night. The food has changed. We ordered fried mozzarella and the sauce was like a can of tomato paste not a sauce.Our waitress never came back after taking the order. So no more drinks if we wanted them. Then I ordered Chicken Piccatta. I was served Chicken Florentine. However could not get our waitress to return to the table so sat for 20 minutes . Finally another staff member noted and got our waitress. When I questioned the meal. Instead of apologizing the waitress argued with me. We were promised bread with the meals, none was brought. We were very disappointed and will not be returning. Its to bad. The service

Our meals were excellent, my wife said the Lasagne was one of the best she has had, and she has had it numerous places in Italy! My Gorgonzola pasta with chicken was also excellent. Good selection of reasonably priced, good tasting wines as well. Can’t wait to go back!! Went back and had just as amazing of a dinner!! My wife got the lasagna again and loved it, and I have the Rissoto a la Milanese with mushrooms, bacon and seared Sea Scallops. It was excellent. We had the Gianni Fig appetizer which was fresh figs, prosciutto and bursts cheese drizzled with EVOO. Amazing…
