Ghize's Family Restaurant

We snuck in for a quick bite to eat. We had not been in here before. There’s a small dining area. There’s a Friday night fish fry special. Our food was great,service was impeccable, and reasonably priced. Thank you, we will be back again.

Just tried this for the first time opting for the Friday Fish Fry with both mac & cheese plus home cut French fries, coleslaw, and roll. Loved it. The coleslaw recipe is super delicious. The fish was cooked perfectly. The rolls made a tasty complement. Service was superb. The inner decor is fine suiting a small family run restaurant. The view of the St Lawrence is a nice bonus too. We'd easily return on another trip to the area.

Always pleasant, polite and food is Excellent! Didn't realize how good their food was until one day we couldn't find anyone that had fish fry, so we tried Ghizes and so glad we did. Been enjoying their food ever since. Fish Frys are Amazing! Fish is always cooked perfect, the yummiest coleslaw I've ever had and the best Mac N Cheese in town! Keep up the Great Work!

I have been wanting to go to Ghizes for years. Finally, I got there last night. Its vintage decor and meticulously clean open dining room did not disappoint. Not to mention the food was terrific. Everything was homemade. The fish was cooked perfectly. The coleslaw was the best I’ve ever had with a fish fry. The mac and cheese and french fries were delicious. So happy I got a chance to experience this great restaurant.

Horrible service very rude to the customers! Owner is a missable rude person she needs to sell if she don’t like people or let someone eles run it. Bartender was drinking while working and playing on her phone the whole time. NEVER going there again. Small town you think she would want good reviews!!
