Ghion Ethiopian Restaurant

This place is a 11/10, 6/5, 110% place. The food here has so much flavor and spice. When I first got here, the waiter/I think owner, was so nice and willing to answer any questions I had. He was super accommodating towards my dietary restrictions and even mentioned the gluten free options even though I'm not GF. He also gave me honest suggestions which were super helpful. I had a hard time picking out what to eat because it all looked so good. The red lentils were spiced perfectly and the vegan tibs had the perfect texture. If you're vegan, come here, like this is the spot. Everything tasted so good, and I got to meet the chef. The food here makes you feel like you're eating at your mom's house or at a friend's who can cook. This is hands down the BEST Ethiopian food in ATL. Tbh I think it

This was some of the BEST Ethiopian food I've ever had. And I've dined at Ethiopian restaurants all over the country as its one of my favorite types of cuisine. This spot blew away my expectations. I always worry about trying new Ethiopian places because they can make hit or miss, but I am glad to have ordered from Ghion. First off the vegan meat options are WONDERFUL. I love the traditional plant-based dishes that come with platters, the greens, lentils, cabbage. Delicious. But I've always wanted to try vegan versions of Ethiopian chicken, beef and fish dishes. This is the first time I have been able to do that and it did not disappoint 🙌🏾. Everything is so flavorful, fresh and delicious 😋. I have absolutely no complaints. Food is amazing! The vegan options are sooooo delicious. The service was great and the atmosphere soooooo good. I ordered vegan platter and vegan beef tips. Lentil samosas. I came after 2 on a Sunday and they have fresh roasted coffee. Lawd I’ve never had such good coffee in my life!

We had an amazing experience at Ghion last night! The food was outstanding, the staff was so accommodating, the portions were large and the prices were excellent. I even took a picture of the bathroom, because it was perfectly clean and great, which is a sign of a clean restaurant. Lots of parking, but careful if you are turning left into the drive. Will be back soon, and next time to enjoy the freshly roasted coffee!

Incredible place. Owners were so kind and helpful. Food is some of the best food hands down any cuisine. So many flavors, so well seasoned. If I could give it 20 out of 10 I would.
