Georgio's Chicago Pizzeria & Pub

I don't think l've tried Pizza better than this in Illinois. We stopped off at Georgio's while taking a stroll through Downtown Crystal Lake and our stomachs started rumbling. I'd never been, but it got high remarks from family members. 4 of us stopped in around noon. The place was nearly empty, but l've heard it gets really crowded at night. The atmosphere was cute and clean, and our server was friendly. We split a Large (14") Pizza with mushrooms and sausage. It was really good, and filled all of us up. Crust was delicious, but it could have used just a tad more sauce. The atmosphere, service, food, and pricing were all very satisfactory, and there wasn't any issues, so l'm giving Georgio's a 5.

This place is legit fan-freaking-tastic. Seriously. There's a reason they are a CL staple. The food is amazing, the staff is on point and super friendly and attentive and the atmosphere is great. Sure you're going to wait for a table on a busy night, but what does that tell you? And yeah, I'll go ahead and say it - from my pov - their deep dish is better than Lou's - come fight me 🤪 Love this place! Keep it up Georgio's, you guys rock!

Decent pizza. I recommend the deep dish over the thin. The thin was a little on the dry side and needs more sauce. The deep dish had a buttery crust and was very delicious. Great service and overall good place to hang with friends or family. Nice menu options as well.

We went there with the family and ordered 6 different pizzas and all of them tasted amazing, phenomenal flavor of their cheese and tomato topping the special crust . The crust is a different story! It's like baked on butter or somehow butter is embedded in it. The pizza crust was so deliciously crunchy. The calamari was also great with three sauces . This place is highly recommended for Chicago style pizza lovers specially if you ride the train to the city. It is right there in downtown Crystal lake.
