George Hail Library

I used to take my children here for story time. Love an old library and even though some modernization done it still has that cozy ambiance! Staff are always helpful and friendly! Love this library!!

As I sat and sketched a stuffed raven that is part of the library's extensive collection of taxidermy, I was privy to a variety of charming conversations between the librarians and visitors! Some were asking for help with research and requesting books, others were frequent visitors who were welcomed warmly.It is clear that this library is a hub of ( quiet) activity and a community treasure! I will be back to work and enjoy the ambience! 🤗

Librarians were amazingly helpful and went above and beyond to help me find resources and books for a paper I was writing, thank you!!!!!!

Absolutely awful, you can’t find a single book you won’t since everything is so messed up and out of place, workers are rude, and there’s taxidermy EVERYWHERE. Kinda disturbing when i’m trying to be in a peaceful place. Definitely would not recommend, save your time and go somewhere else.

This library's staff is incredibly warm and professional. The facility doesn't have ten self-serve kiosks or 100 book stacks, but it does have adept and friendly librarians who will take the time to help you find what you need.
