George & Cynthia Woods Mitchell Library

I absolutely love this library. It has become one of my favorite places since the south regional library closed. The study rooms upstairs are especially amazing for people with ADHD, anxiety, or sensory sensitivities. I often find them to be calm, comfortable, and easy to focus in, which makes them perfect for deep work or reading time. But honestly, the librarians are the real heart of this place. Every single staff member I have interacted with has been incredibly kind, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. They go out of their way to support you. That kind of warmth really matters, especially for people like me who can get overwhelmed in public spaces. The second floor is my go-to. It is usually very peaceful, and there are plenty of quiet nooks to sit, work, or just relax with a book. I

Cute little library! The staff is super friendly and helpful. They have tons of activities for kids. Love this library!

This was our first time at this location and we really enjoyed it. They have a large children’s section with lots of computers for the kids to use and each one has headphones. They have a young adult section upstairs that is closed off in its own little section. Staff was friendly. Will visit again.

We absolutely love this library! We also bought some books at the bookstore in front and my kids can’t wait to visit back here to buy more ❤️

My favorite branch! I love the upstairs area! Lots of seating! It gets chilly so if you are temperature sensitive bring a sweater. The library is the best place for silence and concentration! Keep the libraries open and support!
