Genuine Ice Cream is such a gem! The shop itself is absolutely adorable — bright, welcoming, and full of charm. It has that cozy, local feel that makes you want to linger a little longer instead of just grabbing your scoop and heading out. The flavor selection is fantastic, with so many fun and creative options to choose from. We sampled a few, but the standouts for us were the Huckleberry and the Honey Lavender — both so unique and absolutely delicious. The Huckleberry was fresh and fruity without being too sweet, and the Honey Lavender was perfectly balanced, floral and creamy in the best way. Every time we’re in Bozeman, Genuine Ice Cream is a must-stop for our family. My parents live here and are regulars during the summer, they bring all their friends and family any chance they get. It’s just one of those places that becomes part of your happy memories. The ice cream is always amazing creamy, flavorful, and clearly made with care. We’ve tried so many flavors over the years and never been disappointed. It’s the kind of treat that just hits right, especially on a hot Montana day. I used Genuine Ice Cream as a dessert caterer at my wedding in Bozeman- it was one of the best vendor decisions I made! If you’re on the fence, I would recommend finding it in your budget to get the truck! It made for the cutest pictures, guests had a lot of fun with the interaction, and the service was greats… not to mention the ice cream was fantastic. Such a fantastic experience, would recommend a million times!

My daughter and I had an exceptional time at Genuine the other late Monday evening. We were greeted by a darling college student named Logan. She was friendly and obviously loved her job working in an ice cream shop. We both were in the mood for hot fudge and we both got honey lavender ice cream. My daughter also added a gluten free sugar cone to the top of her Sundae. This was an excellent surprise as she hadn’t been able to enjoy a sugar cone for years. She said it was an excellent sugar cone. The ice cream was exquisite, and the hot fudge was sinfully good! Logan was exceptional and helped add enjoyment to our ice cream late night treat. We will do it again soon!

This ice cream is amazing! Their seasonal flavors are always fun and interesting variations! Tonight I got their apple cider sorbet, and it tasted just like the apple cider I had at Thanksgiving dinner 2 nights ago! The flavors are just the right amount of sweet without being too sugary. The texture is so smooth and creamy. Always a good idea to have some Genuine Ice Cream, even if it's only 13 degrees outside! 😄
