Genki Restaurant & Sushi Bar

One of my favorite sushi places in Raleigh. Only place ive found that has the "surf and turff" roll. Great sevice, wish I could get out more often.

This spot serves great sake and sushi. Sushi is on the pricier side but overall really good. Not a huge place but service is fast and attentive. They do like putting that spicy mayo on all the sushi rolls haha.

Mixed review. I loved my fillet mignon hibatchi entree. My husband disliked his flounder entree, he said it was very plain and the fish was mushy. See photos. Miso soup and salad were good.

I ordered fillet mignon hibachi Medium rare. It taste more like well done choice ribeye. This place is way over price for the portion size. The quality is not that great.

Based on visit in Jan 2023 Good food, great service Glad we made a reservation. Saturday evening and it was busy. Our server was great. Attentive and materialized at just the right time, to take the order to serve the appetizer to bringing the meal. Very professional and knowledgeable. The food was well done and portion size generous.
