Genki Ramen & Izakaya

Absolutely delicious! I have to rave about the experience I had a Genki. I came in on a Wednesday night around 7. There was no wait and I was immediately seated and greeted by my server Linda Z who was the nicest most patient and friendly server ever! She made the best recommendations and got my order in quick and boyyy did it come out FAST! Everything was so fresh, hot, and amazing. I would recommend this place 100/100! It was outstanding!

Love this location!! They have nice comfortable seating with spacious booths if needed. The food was great with a rich broth for their Ramen. They also have a vast menu so everyone can have something they like. The staff was kind, attentive, and fast.

Disgusting!!! I literally ate HAIR!!! I was enjoying the miso paitan with added beef very delicious, just a little bland… then mid bowl I find hair smushed against the side of the bowl!!! I ask the waitress and she says maybe it’s corn hair??? I’m like hmm maybe… until I start pulling it up and it’s literally a BALL OF HAIR!!! Mind you, I’m in the middle of filming a food review for our social media. As soon as I pull it all the way up with a napkin, she quickly grabs it saying she needs to take it to the manager!!! But there was still SO much hair, with strands still floating in my bowl!!! The manager had no explanation where the hair came from although he was apologetic and offered a free dessert 🤦🏻‍♀️ and to take off ONLY my meal even though we ordered several dishes. Pros; Authentic atmosphere, food was decent, nice costumer service, food artistically prepared, cute decor, extensive menu, good prices, and plenty of seats. Cons; The sushi is not the best and they don't have many drink options besides soda and alcohol. Overall, you get what you pay for with a smile 🙂 Would come again, but not my first option.

The service was top tier !! Super sweet and nice. And the food was even better!! First time having ramen and I can truly have it every day. Portion was just enough to hold you for the rest of the day!!! The broth was deliciousss and the boiled egg, I ended up getting a another round of egg! Whew!! Me and my partner enjoyed it!! Forgot what we order but it was with chicken and fish cake. They have veggie options as well!!!
