Geli's Cafe

Awesome! This place makes me want to lower my rating of the other places we ate at. The green chili queso was sooo good. Being raised on Tex-mex, I don’t normally like just red/green sauce, but really enjoyed both here. My son ate the huevos rancheros so quickly I couldn’t even steal a bite. The hash browns were better than most breakfast places! My daughter even ate her whole meal it was so good, which is rare. They were packed but we didn’t have to wait more than 5 minutes.

As other reviewers mentioned, the location in a commercial plaza that has seen better days does not mean this cafe has seen better days. The atmosphere is that of an East Coast diner and the food is that of a Southwestern Kitchen. Service is friendly and attentive and you know it's good food when you see some of the servers sitting down enjoying a meal after a shift! I had the asado and eggs 🏆 The salsa is very good 🏆 Getting the delicious plate of food I got with chips and salsa, the Asado and a Dr. Pepper for $14? This day and age? 🏆🏆 #eggscellentvalue Can't wait to go back and try something else, but that Asado dish was delish and not sure I can pass it up a

Passing through Roswell, I saw a review for Gelis café. I had to stop when I saw the picture of the asado plate. I went inside and was greeted by a very happy staff. The service was amazing and the food was incredible. I ordered the Asada plate with a side of two eggs over easy and the corn tortillas. Very big plate of food and super good. The coffee was hot and fresh, very good. I highly recommend stopping here and checking it out.

This a women owned restaurant. I noticed her as she was evaluating the room. Making sure all her customers were well taken care of. The room is bright and full of vibrant colors. The wait was quick about 5 minutes. Busy place I came at lunch time before the church rush on a Sunday. I devoured my asado plate. It consist of asado beans country potatoes and two eggs with your choice of flour or corn tortillas. Bread they had also. However bread will not be a part of this delicious Mexican cuisine. My husband had the fish caldo with shrimp with a unique twist it had broccoli 🥦 great addition as it made it more platable to see and eat. The waitress was kind and consistent but not overbearing. Price was very good considering the amount of food on our full plates. Fresh lemonade was my choice of
