GEAR Elkader

A hidden gem in beautiful Elkader!! I had NO idea they served food until today —what an amazing surprise! The owners are absolutely delightful, and the food is incredible. I ordered the pastrami sandwich - yum!! I’m pretty sure I accidentally ate part of the wrapper trying to get the last bit of coleslaw. 😂 They serve waffles all day and the vibe is just perfect—super funky, full of useful and unique items for sale. Great food, awesome atmosphere, and genuinely nice people. This is officially my new lunch go-to spot!!

Interesting stop out of the blue off a friend recommendation. It has a Kayak shop, USA made products, coffee shop, cafe, and a bunch of good conversation. If your in the area it worth stopping in and checking it out.

I had a great experience here. The coffee is legit and the waffle was quite tasty as well. The rooms above the store are VERY nice for a fair price. Northern tier cyclists- this place is worth a stop!
