Barn On the Bluff B & B

We stayed here for an Aunts & Nieces weekend getaway. The place is beautiful. The barn is spacious, and full of anything you can think of. Julie and Rick provide AMAZING hospitality. The breakfast was delicious both mornings, and you can tell they put their heart and soul into everything about this place. Highly recommended!!

Excellent experience at this quiet out of the way location. Great atmosphere with something new to see wherever you look. Our group of 20 was a perfect fit and could have accommodated more. Game room downstairs is a great feature and kept our kids occupied all weekend so the adults could socialize. Hosts are great and we highly recommend the breakfast which is an extra charge, but well worth it. We will be back again!

By far the most loving and caring couple you will ever meet. The homemade food is outstanding. The views are incredible and the atmosphere makes you want to stay forever. We go twice a year for a girls weekend. Antiques close by, a stones throw to Prairie and miles of scenic roads. The best bed and breakfast in Iowa!

Our family went to the Barn on the Bluff this past weekend. This was our fourth year to go there. Rick and Julie, the owners, are wonderful hosts. They make you feel like they have waited all year just to see you! The Barn is fun and our whole family has plenty of space to be together to play games and spend time together. The breakfasts are spectacular and I love that we can all sit together at the big table. The view from the Bluff is beautiful and we sit on the veranda and enjoy looking over the valley. A fantastic place for a large gathering. Rick & Julie were great hosts, breakfast was delicious and the property was great fun for our family. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a unique experience in Northeast Iowa.
